SE 76 NW WELBURN A 64 (south-east side, off) 5/115 Mount Pleasant Farmhouse

II Farmhouse. Late C18 with C20 alteration. Dressed sandstone; roof partly of pantiles, partly concrete pantiles; brick stacks, part rebuilt. Central entrance, double-depth plan, with service wing to right. 2-storey, 3-window front with lower 2-storey, 2-window wing to right. Entrance door in return of projecting gabled porch with 8-pane sash to front. Remaining windows are 4-pane sashes with painted keyed wedge lintels. Service wing has renewed 3- light small-pane horizontal sliding sash to ground floor with gabled half- dormer above containing an enlarged C20 window to first floor left. End stacks. Rear: 2-storey, 3-window front. Centre board door with overlight. 4-pane sashes except to first floor right, which is original 12-pane sash. All openings have painted keyed wedge lintels. End stacks. Gable walls to left: 2-storeys and attic. Each gable end has a 12-pane sash to ground and first floor, that to first floor right a blind window. Unequal 9-pane sashes to the attics. Thin timber lintels to all openings. Interior not inspected, but said to be unmodernised.
