Description

Crambeck Bridge is a bridge located in Huttons Ambo, built in 1785 and widened and partly rebuilt in 1935 by John Carr. The bridge features chiselled sandstone piers with tooled voussoirs and a parapet band, while the rebuilding is done in dressed sandstone. It has nine round arches that decrease in size towards the center, supported by tall piers with imposts. The end arches are blocked, and there are pilaster buttresses at each end. A plain band runs beneath the parapet, which has flat coping.
