Description
This milestone, located approximately 100 meters north of the entrance to Moor End Farm, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It features an arched stone structure that is overlaid with a cast-iron section shaped like a triangle. The letters on the milestone are in relief. The top of the milestone reads "LEEDS & HARROGATE ROAD DUNKESWICK," while the left face indicates "HAREWOOD 2 MILES," and the right face shows "LEEDS 10 MILES" and "HARROGATE 5 MILES."
