Description

The structure is a churchyard wall and gateposts located approximately 10 metres south of the Church of St Peter. The wall may date back to the late medieval period, while the gateposts are dated 1822. The wall is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features dressed stone coping. It stands about 1.7 metres high, has sloped coping, and a roll-moulded ridge, ramping up towards the east end. The round-headed gateposts are made of sandstone ashlar and are approximately 1.4 metres high.
