Description

This is an early 19th-century house and cottage with an attached former cowshed. The building is constructed of whitewashed chalkstone on a brick plinth, with a pantile roof. It is two stories high, with a three-window front and a lean-to outbuilding on the right. A half-glazed door leads to No. 3 on the right, and a board door to No. 2. No. 2 has two-light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows while No. 3 has 20th-century replacement windows. Segmental arches feature above the ground-floor openings. There are end and right-of-centre chimney stacks. The outbuilding has a plank door on strap hinges, set beneath a timber lintel.
