Description
The Methodist Church, also known as the Primitive Methodist Chapel, was built in 1847, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof. The building has a rectangular shape and is a single storey with a three-window front. The entrance, located slightly to the right of center, consists of a four-panel door topped with a radial fanlight. The windows are tall sash types with glazing bars and radial heads, and all openings are round-arched with painted stone sills. The date panel above the door reads: "PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL AD 1847." The rear of the building mirrors the front but does not have a door.
