Description

Holmlea is a house built in 1819, with later alterations. It is constructed of variegated brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The house features a central stairhall plan and is two rooms deep. It is two stories high with a symmetrical three-window front. The central entrance has a glazed door with an overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows with stone sills. There are three similar windows on the first floor. All openings are topped with painted wedge lintels. The gables are coped and have shaped kneelers. On the right gable wall, the date 1819 is formed in the ends of the tie rods. The house has end stacks.
