Description
25 and 26 Sandside is a late 18th-century pair of houses that stand three storeys high, with an attic and basement. The front is made of ashlar stone and features a band cornice and a parapet with bold coping, although it has been covered with rusticated cement rendering. The gable end has a pantile roof. There are two dormer windows with flush architrave framed sashes. The upper floors each have three windows, and there is one window on the ground floor of each house, with paired entrances in the center. The ground floor of No 25 has double flush framed sashes without glazing bars. The doors, located in the center, consist of six fielded panels topped with rectangular fanlights. There are plain spearhead railings to the areas, which return to the doorways. Nos 21 to 26 Sandside form a group.
