RAVENSWORTH THE GREEN (north side) No 20, with attached outbuilding to left

2 cottages, now house, with attached single-storey outbuilding (possibly formerly 2 cottages). Mid-late C18. Rubble, C20 pantile roofs with stone slates at eaves. House: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins to left. Central part- glazed C20 door in ashlar surround with bases. C20 16-pane sash windows with ashlar projecting sills and deep lintels. Blocked doorway to left. Shaped kneeler, ashlar coping and end stack to left. To left, single-storey outbuilding has enlarged doorway with quoins on right and board sliding door and, to right, a board door in quoined surround; a blocked window opening to left of each;chimney at left end. Further to left, brick lean-to addition, not of special interest.
