Description

The Servants' Wing, located approximately 3 metres north of Kiplin Hall, is a Grade II listed building dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and in 1980. This structure is built from red brick with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays.

New entrances have been added on the west and south sides. The building has stone quoins and a chamfered plinth. All windows are framed with ashlar surrounds that include keystones. On the ground floor, there is a central tripartite window, with two 4-pane sash windows to the right and one 4-pane sash window to the left. The first floor features three 4-pane sash windows set under gables that have raised verges, shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, and ball finials. The building also has corniced end stacks and a ridge stack. The left return of the building has two 4-pane sashes similar to the front. In the gable, there is a stone tablet that features a carved globe.
