Description
Kiplin Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of rubblestone and red brick in English garden wall bond, with machine tile and pantile roofs. The building is two storeys high and features four bays, with a one-storey bay on either side. The main house has a ground floor made of rubblestone with brick quoins. There is a 20th-century half-glazed door in the second bay, set in a quoined stone surround with a keystone. The ground floor also has three sash windows with glazing bars, which are located under flat brick arches. On the first floor, there is a brick band and four unequally-hung 9-pane sashes. The eaves are stepped with ashlar coping, and there are end stacks, one of which is corniced, along with a ridge stack. The side bays, made of brick, have 20th-century casements and pantile roofs.
