Description

SOTTERLEY SOTTERLEY PARK TM 4585 7/49 Service wing immediately 1.9.53 south east of Sotterley Hall (formerly listed with Sotterley Hall)

GV II

Service wing to Sotterley Hall, attached to the rear of the south wing of the house. Circa 1840. Red brick, with rusticated quoins to match the Hall; roof of glazed black pantiles. 2 storeys, the lower floor sunk below ground level. To the south is a range of 11 sash windows with glazing bars under segmental arches; at each end is a doorway with 6-panel door and rectangular fanlight. There is further brick rustication delineating the 4 centre bays. Various stacks with groups of square flues set diamondwise.
