  1. Red brick. Ashlar dressings. Slate roof. Central block. Two storeys: moulded string. Coped gables. Long and short quoins. Three bays: casements and tripartite stone mullioned window in centre of first floor. Shaped central gable with lancet. Carriage entrance with 4-centred head and flanking buttresses: parapet over with "ERECTED AD 1854" in sans-serif. One-storey flanking wings of 3 bays each: sashes with glazing bars in plain raised stone surrounds. East wing returns southwards towards road: stone coped end gable and stone quoins.
