Description

  1. Single storey, symmetrical 3-bay lodge. Harled, ashlar dressings. Chamfered arrises; overhanging eaves; plain bargeboard.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway to centre with 2-leaf boarded doors; windows flanking.

N (SIDE/CLYDE STREET EAST) ELEVATION: unsympathetic lower flat-roofed extension to lodge incorporating quadrant wall flanking entrance,

3 windows slapped into wall.

Sash and case windows with 6-lying pane to lower sash, 8-pane to upper sash. Grey slate roof; tall corniced polygonal end stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATEPIERS: tall gatepiers rendered and line as ashlar, chamfered angles, corniced and moulded flat caps (small poor quality modern piers between original piers); coped quadrant rubble walls flanking; rubble boundary walls.
