Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey lodge (abutting lodge to

Rockland at rear). Harled with cream ashlar dressings. Chamfered arrises; overhanging bracketted eaves.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway to right, window to left, bipartite window to outer left. Timber mullioned and transomed window to curved angle to right (N), (wall and gatepier abutting elevation between doorway and curved angle).

N (CLYDE STREET EAST) ELEVATION: blank.

Diamond-pane glazing. Piended purplish/grey slate roof, red ridge tiles; corniced cream ashlar stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL, GATEPIERS AND GATES: red sandstone rubble boundary wall. Ashlar coped harled walls flanking piers. Red sandstone ashlar piers, square-plan, corniced, ball finials. 2-leaf iron gates.
