Description
This is a gas lamp from the late 19th century, made of cast iron. It features a circular lamp standard with a tall base that has a panel inscribed with "J E WEBB'S PATENT GAS SEWER DESTRUCTOR." The lamp has a fluted column, a fluted bell-shaped base, and an ornate capital. It is supported by decorative iron brackets that hold a circular glazed lamp with a domed top and a ventilator.
