Description

The Wakeman Public House, located at No 3 Old Market Place in Ripon, is a mid-19th century building constructed of colour-washed brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features two bays with sash windows. The first floor has two canted wooden oriel windows, each adorned with moulded cornices. A moulded wooden cornice runs across the entire ground floor, supported by three sunk-panelled pilasters, two of which frame the entrance door. The cornice is further enhanced with elaborately moulded consoles.
