Description

Nos 9, 10, and 11 in Old Market Place are mid-19th century buildings constructed from white-washed brick. They rise three storeys high and feature paired brackets at the eaves. The façade consists of four bays with sash windows that have glazing bars and channelled stucco voussoirs. There is a late 19th century shopfront that includes slender, partly fluted glazing bars with Composite capitals supporting moulded wooden spandrels. The shopfront also has terminal pilasters with fluted and scrolled consoles, and a porch in antis that contains a door with moulded panels.
