Milepost. Late C19. Made by Mattisons of Bedale. Cast-iron. Triangular section with sloping upper face. Inscription. Left face: 'Malton 10 miles' below pointing hand. Right face: 'York 8 miles' below pointing hand. Reverse: manufacturer's name.
