Description

Westfield is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a Westmorland slate roof and brick stacks. The house is arranged with a central hallway entry, and is two storeys high with three bays. The front features a six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by engaged fluted Doric columns which support friezes incorporating rosettes and a plain cornice. All windows are 20th-century 16-pane sashes, set within stone flat arches and stone sills. The roof has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks.
