Description
Village Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is built of brick in English bond and has a French tile roof, along with 20th-century brick stacks. The layout follows a 3-cell lobby-entry plan and the building is two storeys high, featuring three first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by two windows on the left and one on the right, all of which are 2-light Yorkshire sashes set beneath brick arches. There is a two-course band at the first-floor level. Above, the first floor also has 2-light Yorkshire sashes beneath brick arches. The gables are tumbled-in and coped, with shaped kneelers, and there are stacks at the left end and on the ridge. The roof line has been raised.
