Description

Greenside is a house dating from the early 19th century, with a later 19th-century addition. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The house has a central hallway entrance. It is two storeys high and comprises three bays. A six-panel door, with an overlight, is set within a moulded doorcase supported by brackets carrying a wide cornice. All windows are 16-pane sashes in flush frames, with stone sills and flat brick arches. A dentilled eaves course runs along the top of the building. The gables are tumbled-in and coped, with shaped kneelers. There are stacks at each end of the building. A 19th-century addition to the left is not considered to be of particular architectural interest.
