Description
Woodhouse Field Farmhouse and the adjoining farm building to the north date from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of reddish-brown brick and feature cogged eaves and a first-floor string course. They have a pantile roof and chimneys located at the gable ends, specifically at the second bay from the right. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of four bays. There is a panelled door in the second bay from the right, framed by a plain wooden doorcase. The windows are sash style, set in flush cases, and are topped with shallow segmental brick arches. The one-storey outbuilding, made from similar materials as the farmhouse, includes carriage entrances.
