Description
Carlton House is a farmhouse built in 1815, with some later alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays, with a lower wing at the back that connects to contemporary farm buildings, which are not included in this listing. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with a four-pane overlight, set back within a Doric doorcase that includes pilasters, a frieze, and a pediment. All windows are four-pane sashes, featuring stone sills and flat brick arches, with the window above the door being narrower. The house is topped with stone coping and has end stacks.
