Description

The dovecote located at the rear of Carlton House was built in 1815. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The structure is square in plan, consisting of two storeys and one bay. It has a blind circular opening above a blocked semicircular opening, along with triangular pattern dove openings. There is an eaves band, and the hipped roof is topped with a square cupola that has a hipped roof and a weather-vane. This dovecote is included for its group value, although the adjoining farm buildings are not part of this listing.
