Description
Abel Grange Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that now serves as the garden front. It is constructed of reddish-brown brick with stone dressings, which include a plinth, wide splayed heads above the ground floor windows, and remnants of bands above the ground and first floor windows. The building features dentilled eaves and has a pantile roof with chimneys located at the gable ends. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a lower single bay wing to the right. There is a simple 20th-century door and porch at the center. The first floor has unequally hung sashes in flush cases with plain cills and flat brick arches, while the ground floor features 16-pane sashes also in flush cases.
