Description
This boundary stone, located at the junction of White Lane with the Woodhouse to Viver road, is approximately 300 yards north of Woodhouse. It is likely from the early 19th century and is made of dressed limestone. The stone stands upright and features wide stop-chamfers on the front corners. It is painted black and white, with black sans-serif lettering diagonally on each chamfer indicating "HEVERSHAM" to the south and "HINCASTER" to the north.
