Description
This boundary stone, located between the parishes of Holme and Burton, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and stands upright with a flat top. The stone features deep chamfers with pyramid stops at the front corners. It has been painted black and white, with deeply incised sans-serif lettering that reads "BURTON" on the south side and "HOLME" on the north chamfer.
