Description
Pinders Farmhouse and the attached barn, located on Holme Duke Street, date back to the 17th century and have undergone later alterations. The farmhouse features rubble walls that are whitewashed, topped with a graduated greenslate roof. It stands two storeys high and has three irregularly placed windows. To the left, there is an off-centre 20th-century door accompanied by one sash window and one casement window, both with segmental arched heads. To the right, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window with an iron opening casement. Above, there is one sash window, one casement window, and a four-light stone-mullioned window with timber casements. A single-storey extension at a right angle to the farmhouse has a board door and a three-light stone-mullioned window with iron casements. The barn features a waggon entrance and ventilation slits.
