Description

The boundary stone opposite Leasgill Cottage is a listed structure, likely dating from the Turnpike improvements in 1804. It is made of dressed limestone and features an upright design with a round head and wide chamfers on the front corners. The stone is painted black and white, with black sans-serif lettering diagonally on each chamfer indicating "HEVERSHAM" to the south and "LEVENS" to the north.
