Description

Hawthorne Cottage is likely an 18th-century cottage, with later alterations. It is constructed from limestone rubble with a graduated greenslate roof and a chimney on a shared wall. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. The windows are modern replacements within original openings; the ground floor windows retain stone lintels. There are two 6-panelled doors in recessed openings – the left-hand door leads to a passage. The building is listed for group value.
