Description
The building is a cottage that has been converted into a Post Office, likely dating from the 18th century, with some later alterations. It features limewashed rubble walls and a graduated greenslate roof, which has a modillioned eaves cornice and end chimneys, including a two-stage chimney on the left that is shared with the adjacent property, Sunny Vale. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows, which are 19th-century sashes with glazing bars set in narrow stone surrounds. The central window on the upper floor is blank, while the ground floor windows have segmental heads. The central entrance is a six-panelled door that is partially glazed, framed by a stone surround with a segmental head.
