Description
This boundary stone is located at the junction of Rowell Lane and the Woodhouse to Ackenthwaite road, approximately 600 yards south of Woodhouse. It is likely from the mid-19th century and is made of limestone. The stone is an upright slab with a rounded top, featuring a hammer-dressed face, tooled margins, and a dressed central panel. The letters "HM" are incised in sans-serif lettering on the panel.
