Description

This is a lamp post located approximately 5.5 metres north of Priory Church in Lower Allithwaite, Cartmel. It was probably made in the 19th century and is constructed from cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted column with cross arms and a lantern. The lantern has a cylindrical top flue with a cap, and the original glazing has been replaced with reinforced plastic panels.
