Description
Squire's Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located in Biggar Village on Walney Island. It is built of roughcast stone and features a graduated slate roof. The cottage has two storeys and displays two windows on the first floor. The entrance is at the gable end, and there is a wing at the rear. The front facade includes three 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all with projecting stone sills. The right side of the building has a shaped kneeler and ashlar gable copings, along with end stacks. The right return features a 20th-century part-glazed door beneath a slate canopy and two 12-pane sash windows on the first floor.
