Description
This coach house, stables, and hayloft are located about 4 meters south of Burton Hall. The building likely underwent remodelling in the mid-19th century, although it is based on an earlier structure. It features roughcast render over rubble with limestone dressings and a graduated greenslate roof topped with a stone ridge. On the left side, there is a boarded door with decorative glazing that has pointed heads on the lights. To the right, there is a casement window with vertical glazing bars and a waggon door that includes voussoirs and a keystone. A ball finial is present on the right-hand gable. Inside, there are some original stable fittings and partitions. This building is included for its group value with Burton Hall.
