Description

No 34 on Market Street is a shop built in the early 19th century, with some later alterations. It features an incised stucco front and a graduated slate roof with a stone chimney at one end. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. There are steps leading up to a recessed part-glazed door, which has a semicircular fanlight above and a stone surround. To the right, there is a projecting shop window. Each of the upper floors has a single sash window, with the top floor having 1.6-paned windows. This building is included for its group value.
