Description
Redmayne Hall is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 17th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of stone rubble, with the house being roughcast and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and four bays. On the ground floor, the first bay features a sashed window with vertical glazing bars, the second bay has a two-light casement window, the third bay includes a large window with small-pane fixed glazing and an opening light, and the fourth bay has a late 19th-century bay window with a cornice.
On the first floor, there are two- and three-light casements with transoms; the window in the first bay, which is in a gablet, has leaded glazing. The first bay also has a round-headed entrance located in a gabled porch, while the third bay features an entrance with a half-glazed door. The building has two cross-axial stacks and a gable-end stack.
To the left of the main house is an outbuilding that has entrances with two pivoted doors and a similar loading door. There is also a small outbuilding attached at an angle to the right. At the rear, there is a two-storey outshut under a catslide roof, which has sashed windows, and a gabled wing that features windows with small-pane fixed glazing.
