Description

The limekiln, located to the north-east of Scales Green Farm, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a round shape built into the hillside. The fire hole has corbelled-in jambs and a lintel, while the charge hole is lined with small dressed stones.
