3/31 Milestone 100 yds South of South Lodge II Milestone. Dated 1826. Cast-Iron. Half hexagonal with fluted face and domed top. Painted black and white. Marked: BURTON KENDAL 5 on North side and 6 on South side. MILES MILES One of a series of similar Milestones and Boundary Stones on the old Turnpike road.
