Virginia is a mid-19th century villa built from red sandstone with ashlar detailing. The building features quoins, a cornice, and stone chimneys, and stands two storeys tall. The central entrance has a moulded doorway topped with a cornice and a rectangular fanlight, along with a pediment supported by brackets. There are two sash windows on the ground floor and three on the upper floor, although the glazing bars have been removed. To the right, there is a smaller wing that is similar in style.
