Description

This is a house located at 151 Salthouse Road in Barrow-in-Furness, dated 1802. It is constructed of cement-rendered stone with a slate roof and has two storeys. The first floor features two windows. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed panelled door set within an ashlar surround that includes a cornice supported by consoles. On either side of the door are 20th-century casement windows with projecting stone sills and raised surrounds. A date plaque is positioned between the first-floor windows. The house has stone gutter blocks and shaped kneelers, although the copings have been removed. There are stacks at both ends of the building.
