Description
This building is a farmhouse located at 143 Salthouse Road in Barrow-in-Furness, likely rebuilt around 1800. It features scored stucco on the exterior and a graduated slate roof. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The doorway, positioned to the left of centre, contains a uPVC door set within an ashlar surround, topped with a slab hood supported by shaped brackets. There are projecting stone sills and raised surrounds for the uPVC casement windows. Above the door is an illegible date plaque. The building has shaped kneelers, although the copings have been removed, and yellow brick stacks are located at the ends. Inside, there is an earlier principal-rafter truss.
