Description

1 Dorcas Avenue is a small house located in Barrow-in-Furness, dating from around 1800. It is constructed from cement-rendered sandstone and features a graduated slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set beneath a segmental arch, which is accompanied by a 20th-century glazed porch. There are projecting sills beneath the 4-pane casements, which are also positioned under segmental arches. The house has end stacks. Inside, the ground-floor rooms include fielded-panel cupboards.
