Includes: No.1 New Barns Village HARREL LANE New Barns. 2 attached houses. Late C18; rear wing altered C20. Limewashed stone rubble, graduated slate roof partly replaced in composition tiles. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys, 1:3 windows to 1st floor on front; wing to rear left having 4 windows to 1st floor. Malvern House: (occupying front range) has doorway to right of centre with 6-panelled door in wooden architrave beneath ashlar cornice on consoles within trellised wooden porch. Projecting stone sills to 16-pane sashes in painted surrounds; tripartite window to right of door; 20-pane sash to far left. Shaped gutter blocks; end stacks and ridge stack to left of centre. Left return: much altered rear wing has small doorway, C20 casements with glazing bars; end stacks and 1 ridge stack. Rear wing is separate dwelling known as No.1 New Barns Village.
