House subdivided into 3 cottages, now 2 dwellings. Early C18, altered early C19. Roughcast stone, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys and attic, 2:2 windows to 1st floor. No.26 (on left) has steps to part-glazed door under wooden canopy on brackets; enlarged C20 casement on left and 2 similar windows to 1st floor. Nos 22 & 24 on right (now 1 dwelling): steps to two 6-panel doors under shared wooden canopy on brackets, No.22 has a plain sash to each floor whilst No.24 has 4-pane sashes, all with projecting sills. End stacks and ridge stack. INTERIOR: Nos 22 & 24 have oak ceiling joists and chamfered spine beam; end-wall fireplace under arched wooden lintel. 1st-floor partition wall of moulded muntins (infill panels removed); principal-rafter trusses with struts and collars; 2 purlins on each slope. INTERIOR of No.26 not inspected.
