Description
The Ulverston Heritage Centre's rear warehouse is a building likely dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast rubble and features a slate roof. The warehouse stands three storeys high, with one bay on each side of a central loading slot. The windows are casements with plain reveals and sandstone sills. On the ground floor of the left-hand bay, there is a doorway. The loading slot includes a slate-hung lucan and timber doorways on each floor. Above the ground-floor doors, there is a window that is protected by an external iron grille. Inside, the warehouse has timber floors and two bolted king-post trusses.
