Description
This warehouse, located at 94 Granary Street in Burghead, dates from around 1810. It is a four-storey, five-bay structure facing southwest towards the harbour, built into the side of a hill. The building features tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings.
The harbour side has a central round-headed entrance with a keystone, and there is a similar loading door above that is now blocked. The windows are regularly spaced, although most are blocked, with small loft windows in the upper storey.
At the rear, the building is three storeys high and has three bays. There is a central entrance on the first floor, which is also blocked, and it is accessed by a stone forestair. The ground floor entrance has been widened.
The warehouse has coped end stacks, a slate roof, and a stone ridge.
