Description

This building consists of a barn and stables located in front of The Court Yard, constructed in the mid-19th century for the Musgrave family. The structure features red sandstone rubble walls and a graduated greenslate roof, which is hipped over the stables. The large barn has a single-storey, six-bay stable attached to its entrance front. The barn includes a prominent central segmental-arched cart entrance that is now fitted with a sliding door, along with flanking slit vents. The stables are equipped with half plank doors and have a roof that includes vented cupolas. This building is listed for its group value with The Court Yard.
