Description
Two houses, likely dating to the 18th or early 19th century, are located on the south-west side of The Fold in Lower Holker, near Cark. They are constructed of roughcast stone with a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with the third bay forming the separate dwelling of No. 4. The windows have 20th-century top-hung casements, and the entrances feature glazed doors. A large, cross-axial chimney stack sits centrally, while a gable-end stack is present at one end. The buildings are designated at group value.
